Spain – CZ Over the mountains of Europe . This exclusive tour will take you over the highest and twistiest mountain roads in Europe.You will ride across famous mountain passes in the Alps, the Furkapass, Col d´Ilseran- highest pass in Europe,  conquer Andorra in the middle of the Spanish Pyrenees and so much more..

The excitement starts right from the beginning , heading north through Spain´s national parks and Sierras.  Our route cuts in half the principality of Andorra on the journey across the Pyrenees into southern France where the beautiful ancient city of Carcassone awaits us.
The fragrance of Lavande will accompany us on the route northeast through Provence before we reach the Alps.This is the perfect moment for a fondue.We definitely change the warm Mediterranean  breeze for  fresh mountain air as we advance across the Alps. We continue our travel through the high passes of Switzerland,Liechtenstein and Austria heading to our final destination for a well deserved beer in Prague . Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival Day in Malaga

Afternoon – bike allocation, condition check, introduction to other tour participants, meeting. By the time you arrive at the airport in Malaga, there will be one of our guides waiting for you already.About a half an hour transfer to Alhaurin el Grande, dinner, meeting and off to bed, tomorrow is an early start……

Day 2. Malaga – Cazorla (E)

We start our journey north east direction Granada and then continue north into the Sierra de Cazorla natural park on some narrow twisty mountain roads, that require your full attention, so watching the wild life around has to be left until we get to our hotel, hidden in the middle of the natural park. Sometimes the deer and mountain goats graze in front of the door…

Day 3. Cazorla – Requena (E)

We continue on a secondary roads with little traffic through the heart of Cazorla national park on the way to Albacete for lunch. We stop for cafe in Ayna, picturesque village in an area called “little Switzerland”  ,famous for a spanish movie” Amanece , que no es poco” made there,with  Vespa bike, the protagonist of the movie, exposed above the town. Great opportunity for few pictures. After lunch it´s just an easy ride to our destination for the day,Requena, ancient Moorish fortress town.

Day 4. Requena – Lleida (E)

Today we have a long day ahead but mostly on easy sweeping roads with little traffic.We start our way on a lovely road to Teruel, for a cafe and continue north to Alcañiz , with it´s race circuit  and  the meridian line to cross just north of town.After lunch we only have a last easy ride to the Lleida for the night. The Pyrenees are at our doorstep.

Day 5. Lleida – Carcassonne (F)

Most of you will say, that so far ,today was the best day of the trip. We will spend the day on great roads heading north into the tax paradise of Andorra.Bikers don´t generally get stopped on the border, but you never know. We ride through the middle of Andorra and continue into the French Pyrenees to arrive early in Carcassone, the medieval pearl of southern France….

Day 6. Carcassonne – Avignone (F)

We spend a day on some fabulous biking roads through Languedoc National park and then on north on lonely country roads passing small charming typical french villages, with beautiful scenery to look at, and some local gastronomy to discover. One memorable day finishing at the roman city of Avignone,famous for a song about it´s bridge. Tonight is dinner in a gourmet restaurant, of course we are in France… the gourmet country.

Day 7. Avignone – Briançon (F)

Today expect us a beautiful route through the Provence, full of lavanda and flowers, and we enjoy the smells, nice twisties with very little traffic and the sunshine, pased lakes and picturesque villages…we arrive in the charming highest town in Europe,Briancon, full of medieval flair. Tonight is dinner in a gourmet restaurant, of course we are in France… the gourmet country.

Day 8. Briancon – Brig  (CH)

If you like twisty mountain roads, breathtaking views and fresh mountain air, today is the day. We start early our ride north on roads well known by Tour de France riders, head into the Vanoise National park, and start climbing towards Val´d Isere.The temperature will drop as we cross the highest pass in the Alps. Amazing views will follow us all day long and we will have Mont Blanc in view for most of the day . After lunch in Chamonix, we only have an easy and relaxing ride along the river Rhone to Brig, our destination today.                                                                       Distance travelled: 379 kms

Day 9. Brig – Saint Anton (A)

There are more mountains ahead of us today,we will be crossing over the famous Furca pass into the tiny pricipality of Liechtenstein and then onto our destination in typical Tyroler ski resort Saint Anton, entering Austria. Schnitzel and beer is on the menu tonight.

Day 10. Saint Anton – Hallstatt –(A)

Tonight we head into southern Bavaria with it´s typical chocolate box mountain villages and beautiful country side.  Later we drop down back into Austria and continue on lovely sweeping roads  east to one of the most beautiful village of Austria,Hallstatt.

Day 11. Hallstatt – Marianske Lazne (CZ)

Today is the last riding day of this unforgattable journey. We spend a day on easy sweeping roads  surrounded by beautiful countryside. Starting in Austria, we enter Germany for a while and then finally reach Czech republic, the final destination on this tour. By now, we have completed over 3.500 km…. Tonight is a farewell dinner in a local brawery .

Day 12.Departure day (CZ)

After breakfast, we arrange a transfer to Prague city or airport, depending if you are returning home or having few extra days in the exciting city of Prague.
