This fabulous tour is an exhilarating journey through some of Europe´s most scenic landscapes, vibrant cities and a rich cultural history.You will get to explore the most exciting roads and mountain passes  of  Austria and Slovakia ,not to mention the amazing views and scenery along the route to Slovenia & Croatia.  You will ride through National parks, on breathtakingly  windy roads.  Spectacular  mountain scenery in Italy,  hearty food in Austria , and friendly hospitable people of Poland and the Czech Republic  make central Europe a bikers’s paradise.

Day 1. Arrival in Prague

Our hotel is a short taxi ride from the airport and a walking distance to the city centre . You can spend afternoon relaxing or exploring this exhilarating city. We meet for a short briefing and bike allocation before dinner . During dinner we will discuss the adventure ahead of us.

Day 2. Prague to Passau , Germany  250kms

We leave Prague behind and head south to Cesky Krumlov,for lunch.  We will have a break to enjoy this stunning medieval town and before we continue through southern  Bavaria, to Passau, our destination. Our hotel is located in the old town, on the river front, within walking distance from all local attractions.

Day 3. Passau to Salzburg , Austria 205kms

We head south, following the river Inn .We then cross into Austria and continue through picturesque countryside to another “Not to be missed “ destination, Salzburg . If there is anything you don’t know about Salzburg, you will have the perfect opportunity to learn this afternoon, on a guided tour around the old town.  The plan is to arrive on time for lunch and have an afternoon exploring Mozart’s home town. 

Day 4. Salzburg to Trilago, Italy 295kms 

This morning we ride into  the Alps  . Our route takes over the Grossglockner pass in the morning before arriving into Italy over the Plockenpass. Our destination this evening  is a small beautiful hotel overlooking an alpine lake .

Day 5. Trilago to Rovinj, Croatia  289 kms 

The route from Trilago to Rovinj is a fantastic ride through the scenic landscapes of Northeastern Italy and the Istrian Peninsula. To avoid busy roads north of Trieste, we will take a detour through the breathtaking Slovenia. The roads here are made for motorcycling. The journey will continue along coastal roads ,through charming villages with views of the Adriatic Sea to fortified town of Rovinj on the Croatian coast .

Day 7. Rovinj 

Today we can explore Rovinj old town ,  relax on the beach or take a ride down to the City of Pula to visit the famous roman Amphitheatre.

Day 7.Rovinj to Plitvice lakes, Croatia 261 kms

Refreshed from our day off, we get on our bikes and cross the Istrian peninsula to Rijeka. We ride along the  Adriatic coast road until  Senj, where turn inland  and head east to Plitvice lakes National park. The plan is to arrive in time for a leisurely walk around the  stunning lakes before dinner. 

Day 8.Plitvice lakes to Balaton lake, Hungary 315km

We will spend the day riding along scarcely populated north eastern Croatia. With the exception of Zagreb, which we will bypass to avoid traffic, we will enjoy the lush green countryside with empty roads. Late in the afternoon we cross the border into Hungary and arrive in our lovely hotel on the shore of Lake Balaton, walking distance from town center and the baroque Festetics Palace. 

Day 9 . Balaton to Budapaest , Hungary  190kms 

Today is relatively easy day following the shores of Lake ablation north, direction Budapest. Before we reach the city, we hop on the highway to bypass the heavy traffic. Our hotel in right in the town centre ,overlooking the river and a short  walking distance to many attractions.

Day 10.   Day exploring the city of Budapest 

After breakfast, we head out into the city for a guided tour. Make sure you have all the questions ready to learn everything there is to know about this fascinating city……

Day 11. Budapest to Strbske Pleso , Slovakia   279 kms

After breakfast we ride some of the best roads for motorcycling. We leave Hungary behind and spend the day on twisty mountain roads crossing Slovakia from South to North.Tonights destination is a famous ski resort on the shore of the Strbske Pleso Lake. Štrbské pleso is a picturesque mountain lake of glacial origin and a top tourist destination in the High Tatras.

 

Day 12. Strbske Pleso to Krakow, Poland   166kms

We will ride the back roads through the Tartas mountains national park, we then continue on more twisty mountain roads to Poland´s Pieninsky national park. From here we head north on sweeping country roads to Krakow, once the royal capital of Poland, with its excellent Old Town of wonderful medieval-era streets and architecture.

Day 13. Krakow, Poland, day off   0kms

Krakow, a Unesco Heritage site,  is one of the must-see cities in Europe, and a rest day can be filled with numerous sights in and around the city. Visit the 14th Century Wawel Cathedral on Wawel Hill or explore Rynek Glowny, Europe’s largest medieval town square. You can also book a visit to the famous “Wieliczka” Salt Mine or visit the Auschwitz memorial.

Day 14. Kraków to Niemcza , Poland  201km

Today we crisscross back and forth  through the mountainy border area between Poland and Czech Republic. Tonight we stay in Niemcza, unexpected little village with a wonderful and surprising hotel, for us to enjoy.

Day 15. Niemcza to Prague, Czech Republic  260km

We ride south through the lush farmland, along rivers , lakes and castles, to our destination- Prague, There is little to say about Prague, that you don’t know. Tonight we will have a farewell dinner in a local brewery. It´s hard to believe, that the adventure is over.

Day 16. Departure

After breakfast the tour ends with a transfer to the airport….
