After the transfer to our beautiful hotel in the popular town of Stellenbosch.you can either relax by the pool or go shopping. You might want to arrive early to enjoy this bustling little town in the middle of vineyards , just northwest of Cape Town. After the briefing we will head out to the best steak restaurant in town for dinner.
In the morning we set off to the beautiful village of Franschhoek, deep in the Winelands of the western cape. After a coffee break we ride the famous Franschhoek Pass to Worcester and then north over the Ceres mountains. We continue through the scenic Cape wine region to our destination for the night, Montagu. We will spend the night in a delightful 4*guesthouse.

In the morning we head along the famous “Garden Route” through Barrydale in direction of Ladismith. After coffee we continue to the N327, where we turn south east and follow on twisty but good gravel road to our luxury destination in a Private game reserve. The plan is to be there on time for lunch, dip in the pool or siesta on your private’s terrace and an afternoon tea. After tea we head out on an evening game drive. We will be back just on time for delicious dinner. One of my favourite destinations on this trip.

My second trip with Hana and David / MotoAdventours, this time with my wife, Vicky .
We both had a brilliant 16 days of full-on adventure seeing amazing places every day (including four game drives) plus mountain passes, valleys, national parks, and the mountains of Lesotho with Oxen ploughing fields, donkeys as the main traffic jams and locals on horseback.
They have run this tour many times and that’s very evident as everything is very well researched and top quality in terms of amazing accommodation and lunch and coffee stops and interesting and challenging routes and riding – no two days the same.
Hana leads up front with faultless navigation and great marshaling of the group with plenty of stops and photos etc so that the amazing landscapes don’t just rush by. David has a 4×4 with a trailer for any pillion needing a break or in the event of any bike issues – we had none (everyone did the full 3,200 kms).
The icing on the cake was the company – 14 of us in total on 9 bikes and we had such great fun in a relaxing and humourous company whilst eating great food, with fabulous (great value) wine in the most amazing settings.
In summary – totally excellent and thank you – we look forward to the next one.

Cape Town to Kruger was amazing. David and Hana are so good at what they do. Nothing was left to chance. There were no dramas or hiccups just great riding and accommodation. The scenery, game drives and food were outstanding. By ourselves we would never have experienced Africa the way we did on this tour. We were able to meet a group of tremendous people who shared our passion for bikes and adventure and helped us create treasured memories. We can’t recommend Motoadventours highly enough. Don’t wait.

John and I have recently returned from this amazing bucket list holiday and one we have been looking at for years. This trip did not disappoint in any way and far exceeded our expectations. We were looked after completely by Hana and David from the minute we were collected from our hotel in Cape Town to the minute we were dropped off at Kruger airport.
John is an experienced rider and I’m a new pillion, but the BMW bike took us over all the terrain it threw at us, over nice tarmac roads to gravel, bumpy minor roads and passes. The accommodations were varied and amazing, scenery was beautiful, game drives that brought us up close to the animals and an amazing group of people, with whom we belly laughed and ate and drank (far too much most of the time). I have no hesitation in recommending Hana and David’s tours if you want peace of mind, good riding and various adventures along the way.

I couldn’t have said it better than my husband Doug in his review above – as an inexperienced pillion rider, I had the trip of a lifetime! I felt completely safe and comfortable during the tour, able to really enjoy the amazing variety of stunning scenery. I expected upscale unique lodging and good food and epic game drives but my expectations were regularly exceeded! What a pleasure to travel with such a supportive and fun group of people. Sign me up for our next tour!

My wife Karen and I returned from our tour CapeTown to Kruger National Park weeks ago and are still on cloud 9.5
Every bit of this experience far exceeded anything we could have imagined from the exotic lodge stays to the food served with staff very mindful and kind to us as visitors in their country.
The partnership they maintain with BMW and others provided us state of the art bikes and we experienced no break downs or failures.
The riding was once in a lifetime traversing mountain passes and villages we never would have seen without David and Hana’s planning and expertise.
As owner / operators David and Hana’s attention to detail proved valuable in climates which could quickly change as we took breaks to take in vistas and views in breathtaking surroundings.
You know you’re in good company with others who often are repeat customers and will become new friends for a lifetime.
I give MotoAdvenTours my highest praise and rating looking forward to my next adventure.

Thanks Hana and David for a great tour. My third tour with motoadventours and once again it was a fantastic experience. Food, accommodation, riding and people were all top notch and the game drives were a great experience as well. I’d definitely recommend this trip to anyone with an interest in riding and exploring the world and look forward to my next trip.

Best birthday present of my life! This is our 2nd trip with Hana and David and we will definitely go together again.
Great organisation, lots of adventures, but completely safe all the way. We were also very lucky with our travel companions, you can’t imagine a better team. South Africa is definitely fascinating, but to this extent it can only be explored and discovered on a motorbike. Lesotho is beautiful, but it is important that Hungarians need a visa! The children are very cute, it is worth bringing sweets and small gifts on the trip because they are very happy and looking forward to it.
The impact and experience of the trip will recharge you for a long time. I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful tour to everyone who wants to experience something beautiful.

I concur with other’s reviews, but would add that this is definitely a ‘Bucket-List’ trip! It was my first experience on the continent and from arrival in Capetown to departure from Johannesburg, every day was spectacular in every way. The roads were superb and of equal quality to that of any country in the world. The views and terrain were varied and awe-inspiring and the hotels and food! Beyond excellent and all the way to nirvana.
Many companies pretend to offer this experience, but Hana and David deliver. No one but an owner-operator can provide this level of personal attention tailored to the individual’s need and ability.
Thanks guys for a spectacular and rewarding experience.

Hands down the best tour I’ve been on. And that’s despite breaking an ankle whilst skiing a month before the start of the tour so spending the entire tour in a walking cast and crutches.
It didn’t matter that I couldn’t ride a bike on this trip as the scenery was stunning, with fabulous accommodation, delicious food and drink, and great craic with David in the support truck! The game drives were better than any I’ve experienced and it was so wonderful to see my first ever rhino and from about 2 metres away.
The roads were awesome, particularly in Lesotho. I’d definitely like to do the tour again though, this time on a bike so that I can enjoy the fabulous curvy roads and the experience of riding into a game reserve right next to the animals.
I’d highly recommend this trip for both bikers and passengers. Thank you Hana and David for an incredible trip and for such great organisation that I didn’t miss out on a thing.

A vacation of a life time! The scenery from the Cape, through Lesotho and Swaziland all the way to the Kruger was absolutely breathtaking. The accommodation was wonderful and always a pleasant surprise at the end of a good day of riding. The roads were pillion friendly and a perfect way to experience the beauty of Cape vineyards, fruit orchards of the Ceres region and the magnificent geological formations of the Swartberg Mountain Pass (my favorite off road experience). The food was delicious and uniquely South African. Game drives brought us close to lion, elephant, rhino, giraffe and many other species. My husband and I are both SA expats now living in the USA. Thank you David and Hana for showing us our country in the very best way possible. This trip will always be very special to us.

An absolutely stunning well organised tour, up through the Garden Route to Kruga National game park. Varied and comfortable accommadation. Several game drives and some fantastic scenery. I was blown away by Lesotho .Amazing riding the high ridges and seeing the valleys either side of you ! Locals were always friendly and at no time did I feel threatened !
