The famous mountain passes and Alpine roads of  Austria, Croatia, Romania , Slovakia and Slovenia.

This fabulous tour is a true heaven for every motorcyclist and mountain lover.You will get to explore the most exciting roads and mountain passes  of  Austria and Romania ,not to mention the amazing views and scenery along the route to Slovenia & Croatia.  You will ride through National parks, on breathtakingly  windy roads.  Spectacular  mountain scenery in Romania,  hearty food in Austria , and friendly hospitable people in Slovenia and the Czech Republic  makes Europe a bikers’s paradise.

Day 1. Arrival in Prague

We collect you from the airport and bring you to the hotel. You can spend afternoon relaxing or exploring this exhilarating city. In the afternoon we meet for a short briefing and bike allocation. During dinner we will discuss the adventure ahead of us.

Day 2. Prague to Olomouc , Czech Republic  252kms

We leave Prague behind and head north east to Kutna Hora, another exciting place in the Czech Republic. We can choose between visiting the famous Sedlec Ossuary or the Gothic St. Barbara’s Church .From here it’s the twisties over the hilly national parks to Olomouc.Located on the Moravia River, Olomouc is one of the largest cities in Czech Republic. After Prague, the city has the second largest and the second oldest historic preservation zone in the Czech Republic.

Day 3. Olomouc to Tatra mountains, Slovakia 280kms

We head east and cross the border into Slovakia before coffee stop. From here we continue to the Low Tatras, the smaller sister of tonight’s destination. The Tatras are often called „the smallest alpine mountains in Europe”. Here you find a pristine natural environment, modern but tasteful mountain resorts, medieval castles and towns and wooden folk architecture. Some of these are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. The Tatras mountain region is a green natural playground with a charming variety of nature, history and attractions.

Day 4.Tatra mountains to Oradea, Romania 295kms 

We start south across the lush rolling hills of Slovakia. We cross the border into Hungary and continue south east towards Debrecen and the surrounding Spa towns. The area is full of hot springs.Debrecen is the capital of Hungary’s Northern Great Plain region, which means that the area is rather flat, but not less interesting. After lunch we cross the border into Romania and arrive in Oradea, our destination.Located just 8 miles east of Romania’s border with Hungary and spanning both shores of the Crisu Repede River, the elegant city of Oradea is a great starting point for exploring Romania, for visitors arriving, from Central Europe.

Day 5. Oradea to Sibiu, Romania  365 kms 

Today we continue southeast crossing the Apuseni Natural Park on the way to Sibiu.The Apuseni Nature Park has been a synonym for the main tourist area in Romania for many years now. The roads are twisty and deserted. Sibiu is situated in the heart of the famous and beautiful historical province of Transylvania. It is a wonderful combination between history and the vibrant spirit of a modern European city.

Day 6. Sibiu to Drobeta Turnu, Romania 380 kms

We have a great day ahead,  conquering the famous Transalpina Road. First we descend the Carpathian Mountains along the river Olt and then turn west onto the Transalpina road. The views are spectacular and the bends are never-ending. We continue heading south to our destination, Drobeta Turna, located on the banks of the Danube, which separates Romania from Serbia.

Day 7. Drobeta Turnu to Zlatibor, Serbia 389km

In the morning we follow the Danube and then cross the bridge into Serbia. After completing formalities, we continue along the Danube on an exciting road with a long section of tunnels .After coffee we turn south and continue on sweeping country roads to the beautiful resort of Zlatibor

Day 8. Zlatibor to Dubrovnik, Croatia 300kms

We will spend the day riding along scarcely populated border area of Bosnia & Herzegovina. We enter Bosnia shortly after leaving hotel and enjoy the lush green countryside with empty roads. Late in the afternoon we cross the border into Croatia and arrive in our spectacular destination for 2 nights, Dubrovnik, Unesco Heritage town. Day off tomorrow.

Day 9. Dubrovnik , Croatia , day off –   0 kms

Today we can explore Dubrovnik or relax by the pool.

Day 10. Dubrovnik to Zadar , Croatia   353 kms

We follow the  coast north to Zadar. Our boutique hotel on the shore invites for a dip in the turquise waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Day 11. Zadar to Podstojna Jama , Croatia   303 kms

After breakfast we ride some of the best roads for motorcycling in Europe. The roads follows the coast towards Rijeka, before we cross the border into Slovenia.Our hotel is right next to the breathtaking Podstojna Cave complex.

Day 12. Podstojna Jama to Kaprun, Austria   320kms

We will ride the back roads through the Triglav National Park .After we negotiate the Wurzen pass into Austria, we head to the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse.At 2504m, this is the highest surfaced mountain pass in Austria and a “must do” ride for any motorcyclist.

Day 13. Kaprun to Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic   295kms

We ride along the river Inn and then enter the Bayerischer wald, with its typical Bayern villages and empty secondary roads. We then cross into the Czech Republic and follow the border north until we arrive in the medieval Unesco Heritage town of Cesky Krumlov, known for its medieval castle and the many magnificent buildings.

Day 14. Cesky Krumlov to Prague, Czech Republic   201kms

We ride north through the lush farmland, along rivers , lakes and castles, to our destination- Prague, There is little to say about Prague, that you don’t know. Tonight we will have a farewell dinner in a local brewery. It´ shard to believe that the adventure is over.

Day 15. Departure from Prague

After breakfast the tour ends with a transfer to the airport….
